📢 Thursday 20 Nov 5.30pm – 7.00pm: Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) Community Event at the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local Shepparton (18+ event) Please register here for this event to help us ensure catering and supplies for activities.

Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is observed annually on November 20 to honor the memory of transgender individuals who have lost their lives to acts of transphobia and discrimination. Trans and gender diverse community and their allies and friends are invited to come along to mark TDoR together. This event will include reflection of lives lost.

  • What: a community gathering with conversation and an option to create your own tea light candle holder with clay
  • When: Thursday 20 Nov from 5.30pm – 7.00pm
  • Where: Mental Health and Wellbeing Local, corner of Corio and Nixon Streets, Shepparton
  • Included: All materials needed, free snacks, quiet spaces
  • Accessibility: access key and social script will be available to all registered attendees & all gender bathrooms are onsite
