Greg Gould is one of Australia’s most exciting rising stars, captivating audiences worldwide with his electrifying performances, incredible vocal prowess, and infectious charisma. Fresh from headlining prestigious events like AAMI Park Stadium Pride Cup, ChillOut Festival, Darwin Pride, and Sydney WorldPride, Greg is not just setting trends—he’s reshaping modern soulful pop music. Since bursting onto the scene as the runner-up on ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ in 2013, he has gained millions of fans globally with his powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence, amassing over 20 million views on his award-winning music videos.

Greg’s debut original album, ‘Strings Attached’, is a testament to his powerful songwriting and vocal ability. Debuting at #4 on the ARIA Australia Album Charts, the album features hit singles like

‘Marching On’, ‘Love It All Out’ (feat. Morissette), and the groundbreaking sexual abuse anthem ‘Who Gave You Permission?’. Indigo Carter (Ruby)

Ruby is a young artist and musician who grew up in Moira Shire. Ruby started playing guitar at the age of 11. It wasn’t until age 13 that Ruby heard alternative rock for the first time and fell in love with it. After that, their passion for music started growing. At age 16 they picked up the bass and started recording their own music using garage-band. Ruby finished high school with a Cert III in Music Performance and went on to study a cert iv in Sound Production. In 2019, Ruby joined their Mum’s indie rock band as the rhythm guitarist. In 2021, Ruby started teaching guitar and bass and now runs a successful business. In October 2022, Ruby released their first album ‘SMOKE’ under the name Indigo Carter. In April 2024, Ruby released their second album ‘So Below’ with an album release performance as part of the Shepparton Festival.

Koda Jace

Koda Jace, an Australian recording artist hailing from Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, has established a notable presence in the music industry through a blend of originality and homage to classic pop.

Growing up in the opal mining town of Lightning Ridge, Koda developed a musical style that reflects both the rugged Australian landscape and the vibrant energy of pop music.

Koda’s debut album, Hollywood Can Wait, showcases their versatility as an artist, featuring a mix of original compositions and expertly crafted covers of iconic hits, including ABBA’s “Super Trouper.” The album captures the essence of classic pop while infusing it with a modern, unique twist that is distinctly Koda Jace.

In addition to the album, Koda released two powerful singles, “Signs” and “Marilyn,” which resonated with audiences worldwide. These releases propelled Koda to significant chart success, reaching the #1 spot on the Local ReverbNation Pop Charts for Victoria, #12 nationally, and an impressive #26 globally. Scarlet Dahlias

Scarlet Dahlias are a grunge/dream pop duo who are playing their first shows during Out In the Open Festival, 2024. Ash (they/them) plays guitar and sings, Evey (she/her) plays drums and sings occasionally. It’s like queer White Stripes but sadder. Some folks say the songs kinda sound like Neil Young or Mazzy Star. You decide – come see for yourself!

Scarlet Dahlias have been slowly writing and recording music for nearly two years but they’ve never played live. They’ve released a four track demo called “mercury rx” that is available on all streaming platforms and finally, they are excited to bring their unique blend of noisy ethereal pop to local Out in the Open audiences.

Ash is a school teacher and Evey runs an op shop. On weekends, they play music and call themselves Scarlet Dahlias.

Creating Drama

Creating Drama is a Theatre Company for Adults with a Disability. Based in Shepparton Creating Drama believes in Access to arts for all abilities. Run by Helen Janke Creating Drama meet twice a week and currently has twenty five members. “This year as Artists In Residence at the Eastbank Centre we will be performing Aladdin on Nov 16th at Eastbank”.

Creating Drama is thrilled to be part of the Out in The Open Festival.

Lou Baby

Self made, Self Obsessed, Trans Princess Pop Star Lou Baby is bringing her imagination to life, stepping out of her own perfect animated world to share her magic with this one!

The princess of pink is super excited to bring her music filled with messages of self love (to the absolute extreme) to the OUT in the OPEN Festival | 6-10 Nov 2024 stage, accompanied by her infamous army of Dora dolls that she loves more than anything!

Get ready for the ultimate lesson in perfection and pride from Lou Baby, the one and only!

Frock Hudson – Emcee & Drag Story-time extraordinaire

Frock Hudson is the queerer alter ego of cabaret comedian & community darling Dean Arcuri.

Elevating his cabaret and hosting skills with a touch more make up and colourful wigs; you can catch Frock performing at LGBTIQA+ festivals around the county + Gay Ski Week in Victoria, Celebrations New Years Eve in Sydney, Rainbow Storytime events for families, community fundraisers and more. Frock is proudly an ambassador for the Out in the Open Festival and Chillout Festival.
