New parents support program for trans kids and young people!

We are thrilled to announce …

An exciting new opportunity for parents and carers of trans and gender diverse young people and children under the age of 18 in Greater Shepparton.

A partnership between Transcend Australia, The Diversity Project at Uniting Vic.Tas. and GV Pride will bring a program that is ‘a place to connect, seek support and help develop strategies for your child to thrive’ for local parents caregivers and guardians.

This group will be a place for parents to connect, learn skills to support their children and learn valuable information about the trans community, so they in turn can empower and affirm the young people in their own lives. Alongside this support for parents, ongoing groups continue with the Diversity Project for LGBTIQA+ young people aged 12 – 25 in Greater Shepparton.

To register for the program, please head here – https://info.transcend.org.au/gvpride_parentsupportprogram
