BIG Bold Brunch – Winter Edition | Sun 5 July

Join us this July and help us celebrate 21 years of GV Pride!

GV Pride’s favourite BIG Brunch is BACK as part of our 21 year celebrations. Think BIG coffee, BIG breaky, BOLD community connection, and those BRIGHT Sunday morning vibes that you know and love at the venue on the lake, Elsewhere at SAM! 🙌 Your ticket entitles you to ONE ‘big’ food item (e.g. “eggs your way” plus 2 sides) and ONE ‘bold’ beverage (e.g. coffee, tea, juice).

All the details:

📅 Sunday 5th Jul 2026

⌚ 11.00am – 1.00pm

📍 Elsewhere at SAM, located within the Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) Level 1, 530 Wyndham Street, Shepparton.

🌈 This is a ticketed event – TICKETS ON SALE NOW

If you have any access needs, you can call the cafe number (03 4804 5023) upon your arrival at the Museum front entrance, and they can provide accessible entry via a lift.

Further details and accessibility information:
  • SAM has accessible parking on site, near the building and concrete paths that lead up to the building. The SAM building sits alongside a busy main road and the Shepparton Lake, so there can be some outdoor noise when arriving at the venue, before heading inside. If walking, the pedestrian crossing at KFC at the north end of the lake is recommended. If driving or being dropped off, there are parks near SAM at the south end of the lake. Public buses do not run on Sundays.
  • SAM has an all gender and all accessible bathroom on level one, the same level as the cafe. All bathrooms are outside of the cafe, in the gallery, very close to the cafe entrance within the SAM building.
  • There is an accessible entrance into the building and also a lift. The main entrance door is glass, and it rotates. The accessible entrance is next to it.
  • The Elsewhere at SAM café has inside and outside seating and is often quite busy, so noise levels will be high. SAM the gallery, is a quieter space. We will be seated inside the venue.
  • Support available for those who may wish to attend it but unable to afford it. Please contact gvpride@gvpride.org for further information.

There will be an OUT in the OPEN festival volunteer present at this event, please make them feel welcome.
🌈🌈

This event takes place on the lands of the Yorta Yorta people. Goulburn Valley Pride and the OUTintheOPEN Festival acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we live, work and play, the eight clans of the Yorta Yorta Nation. We also pay our respects to their Elders past and present. On the land of the Goulburn Valley, sovereignty was never ceded.
