Trans Social Club Event | Affirmation Station | Shepparton

Get ready to connect, laugh, and just be yourself at Transgender Victoria’s Trans Social Club! This is your dedicated space to hang out with other transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people in Shepparton!

Our TGV team will be there to kick off different activities, spark conversations, and help you make some awesome new friends. Each week is a choose-your-own adventure, with plenty of time for you to chat, play board games, or get creative with arts and crafts.

 Who’s it for?
– Transgender, gender diverse and non-binary folks.
– The group is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly.
– Participants must be 18 years and over.

 What to expect:
– Trans Social Club is facilitated by LJ (they/them), TGV’s Peer Programs Facilitator. They will be there to guide the conversation and activities.
– We will play games/ do activities together and then the second hour will be directed by you – it will be a chance to connect, play board games, do activities of your choice and/or arts and craft.
– We have plenty of materials to craft with, otherwise feel free to bring your own!

 Accessibility & COVID Safety: Your comfort and safety are important to us.
– Mask-wearing is strongly encouraged, and we’ll have spares if you need one.
– We offer fidget toys if you need some.
– Hand sanitiser is available.
